In the Walla Walla River Basin, there is not always enough water available to meet every need, including Tribes, agriculture, drinking water, and supporting aquatic ecosystems. The Walla Walla 2050 Watershed Strategy is a collaborative effort to meet the Basin’s growing water needs and provide water for healthy rivers, fish, farms, and people.

You’re invited to the Walla Walla Watershed Strategy Open House! Join us to learn about water challenges and stream health in the Basin, and what we are doing to address these issues. The Open House is open to all ages, and will have stations to explore, interactive activities, and a short presentation from local water experts.

  • Where: Reid Campus Center Ballroom at Whitman College (280 Boyer Ave, Walla Walla, WA 99362)
  • When: Thursday, November 16 from 4:30 – 8 PM. You can arrive at any time during the event, but we encourage you to attend the introductory presentation from 5:00 – 5:30 PM.
  • Food: Light refreshments will be served!

All are welcome, and we’d love if you share this invitation with others. For more information, visit https://ecology.wa.gov/WallaWalla2050, and for questions about the event, email alexandra@cascadiaconsulting.com. We look forward to seeing you there!
