SAVE THE DATE! Walla Walla 2020 35th Anniversary Celebration, April 2, Heritage Park
Walla Walla 2020, formed on April 2, 1988, will be celebrating its 35th anniversary at 2 pm, on April 2, 2023 in Heritage Park (one of its projects).
At the 35th anniversary celebration, in addition to a variety of displays, the group will honor Walla Walla 2020’s founders and others, review its history and the history of Heritage Park which was a major project in cooperation with the City and other organizations.
The public is invited, and encouraged to bring a chair, if possible.
The group’s purposes have been to envision, plan for, and undertake projects to help realize a livable community in the Walla Walla area now and for the future. Since its founding it has been instrumental in launching many practices and systems to protect and enhance our quality of life.
