City of Walla Walla: Volunteers Sought for Civic Boards

Here’s the latest listing of seats you might be interested in occupying on several City committees.  Most of them meet once a month for an hour to an hour and a half.

Volunteers sought for the following advisory boards, commissions, and committees:

The City of Walla Walla is accepting applications for:

  • BICYCLE & PEDESTRIAN ADVISORY COMMITTEE – One opening for a term expiring December 31, 2020.  This member may live within the City’s Urban Growth Area or be a City resident.
  • HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION – One opening for a term expiring June 30, 2021.  Must be a City resident.
  • INFRASTRUCTURE IMPROVEMENT COMMITTEE – One opening for a term expiring December 31, 2019. Must be a City resident.
  • SUSTAINABILITY COMMITTEE – One opening for a term expiring June 30, 2020. Must be a City resident.
  • TRANSPORTATION BENEFIT DISTRICT IMPROVEMENT COMMITTEE – One opening for a term expiring June 30, 2020. Must be a City resident.
  • WATER & WASTEWATER ADVISORY COMMITTEE – Two openings; one for a term expiring June 30, 2020 and one for a term expiring June 30, 2021.  Must live within the City’s designated water service area.
