Public Workshop to Develop a Network of Non-Motorized Trails and Transportation
Our region has received a grant for technical expertise to support the development of a region-wide trail plan! This grant, provided by the National Park Service Rivers, Trails and Conservation Assistance (RCTA) program will help local entities prepare a blueprint for a system of non-motorized connections throughout our region. By unlocking federal and state grant opportunities, this planning effort will ultimately increase outdoor recreation opportunities, enhance health and mobility, and promote a higher quality of life in the region.
