City of Walla Walla seeks volunteers to fill vacancies on City committees
The City of Walla Walla is seeking applications from volunteers to fill vacancies on the following advisory groups:
- Arts Commission: One position for an art education representative; term expires Dec. 31, 2027. Must be a person working in the Walla Walla public education community, preferably in the field of arts education.
- Bicycle And Pedestrian Advisory Committee: Two openings; terms expire on Dec. 31, 2027.
- Infrastructure Improvement Committee: Three positions; terms expire on Dec. 31, 2027.
- One position civil engineer
- One position certified public accountant
- One “at-large” position
- Lodging Tax Advisory Committee: Three positions; terms expire on Dec. 31, 2027.
- Two positions representing an agency collecting the tax
- One position representing an agency eligible for funding by the tax
- Parks, Recreation, And Urban Forestry Advisory Board: Four positions
- One unexpired term — begins immediately; term expires on Dec. 31, 2025.
- Three positions; terms expire on Dec. 31, 2027.
- Planning Commission: Three positions; terms expire on Dec. 31, 2027
