We need help restoring Stubblefield Cemetery. If you can join us, please do! Let Dan Clark or Nancy Mitchell know if you want to help.
- Monday October 23, starting at 1 p.m.
- Saturday, October 28, 9 a.m.-12 noon-ish.
The work will include hauling light brush (and logs from recently cut trees but we will try to find younger folks to do that) to make it easier for the mower to mow and to remove tripping hazards; trimming paths through stands of lilacs; raking paths and pulling starts of poison hemlock. And if we have enough help, pulling Vinca Major, the ground cover. GOOD EXERCISE!
If you can’t make either of these sessions, we will be working out there until the weather worsens and there is always next year…Let us know if you’re interested.
