Walla Walla 2020 Presents: “Awards for a Decade” April 27 at GESA Powerhouse Theatre
For 15 years following its founding in 1988, the citizens group Walla Walla 2020 made annual architectural awards honoring outstanding examples of restoration or rehabilitation of historic buildings, compatible new construction, energy and water efficiency, landscaping and public art. In the last awards ceremony held in 2003, the Grand Prize was awarded to the Marcus Whitman Hotel & Conference Center.
On Monday, April 27, Walla Walla 2020 will present “Awards for a Decade” to honor individuals, organizations and projects that have made outstanding contributions to Walla Walla’s quality of life and sustainability since 2004.
