Glass recycling beginning June 6 in Walla Walla

Bring your glass containers to the grand opening of the Walla Walla Spoke, sponsored by BIG Recyclers and the Glass Packaging Institute

TIME: 9am to 12pm
LOCATION: Walla Walla Spoke, 240 C Street, at the airport; look for our sidewalk signs across from the north airport parking lot

The Hub and Spoke Model Promotes the Circular Economy: Clean glass will be collected at local Spokes, transported to our Pasco Hub, and from there trucked to Seattle or Portland to make new bottles. By recycling our local glass for use by regional glass manufacturers, we’ll be contributing to the true circular economy.

THIS EVENT IS FREE FOR ALL BUSINESSES AND RESIDENTS. Following the Grand Opening a small fee will be charged for disposal.

*WE CANNOT ACCEPT ANYTHING BUT FOOD AND BEVERAGE BOTTLES AND JARS.
